Construction delays, pneumonia and rain, oh my

As much as things have progressed, there have been some delays as well.

The front porch is almost done. Just some work on the roof and some siding, and we are done. Just waiting on materials. Until that is done, we really cant start the outside decorating.

And for Thanksgiving, i spent some time watching football, eating turkey, and ending up in the emergency room due to pneumonia. Happy holidays!

And then the wind and rain last night.

That being said, the living room display is done, the dining room display is about 80 percent done, our main tree is up. Stockings are hung from the doorway with care.

Most importantly, the North Pole mailbox is up. Everyone who puts a letter in there with an address or email address will receive a personalized letter back from the North Pole - maybe even from Santa himself!
